Prayer Requests

Flaming praise report and continued prayer – Kyle’s parents are on board with moving closer. They are looking to move them the weekend of the 12th or 19th.
Please praise God for his work already in this situation and also for Kyle’s parents as they choose what to keep and what to let go of. Also, pray for wisdom for Nikki and Kyle as they navigate what it will look like to have Kyle’s parents closer.

Michelle is hoping as Mayah (2 years old) is growing up she will being able to go to class so Michelle would be able to fellowship with the other women in bible class. They are also hoping for her to adapt well during homegroup and co-op time. Pray she makes friends with other littles and is at peace when not with her parents.

Hogla’s mom’s surgery is this Wednesday, Sept 3. She has had problems in the past with anesthesia so please pray for safety, efficacy, and a good outcome. She has had a lot of knee pain so we are asking for strength and restoration of her knees.

Additionally, there have been some issues with Samuel’s home room teacher, Ms.
Cardona. Hogla works at the school also and one of her students, doing inclusion, is in the same home room class. It would seem the teacher feels Hogla is more focused on Samuel and doesn’t feel Hogla is handling things to her liking. Please pray for understanding for both Hogla and Ms.Cardona and for the situation to be resolved amicably.

Everett went to the hospital because of eye trouble based on the optometrist recommendation. The condition was pressure/fluid around the optic disc. They ended up at Children’s Dallas, but the doctor’s could not say what was causing it. After prayers from their prior home group they went to a follow up out-patient visit and they were told Everett was clear.

They couldn’t explain it but we know God worked a miracle. Please thank him for this blessing in the Davis’s lives.

Sister’s baby shower this Saturday, Sept 9/6 – Please pray for a blessed time as there will be a large gathering of family and friends. Please pray for safe travels for everyone as they come in to celebrate.
