Prayer Requests

Please pray for the Davis’s neighbors. One is agnostic and the other atheist. Ask that God would provide opportunity for Kendra to encourage their hearts with truth and also for the courage and boldness for her to walk that out when the opportunity comes.

For Hogla’s friends Jass, Ivan, and Valerie’s salvation. For Hogla to have courage to pray with them.

Please pray for Derrek’s heart, that he would not grow bitter at work because of the broken trust with leadership. Pray he entrusts all things to the Lord. And pray that they are able to get moved quickly to Plano so his drive may be shortened!

Pray for Kirk and his work situation. It has caused him to have unease and this job will be continuing for a couple more weeks. Ask for peace for him and for trust in God.

Morgan’s parent’s home was struck by lightening recently. While they are okay, there is concern that if the repair’s cost is significant enough that it could delay Morgan’s dad from retiring when he hoped. Please pray for favor that they could get the repairs completely quickly, without issue, and in an affordable way.

Pray for energy and dependance on the Lord for the Shim’s and all the homegroup families. Children are both a blessing from the Lord and a lot of work!

We want to continue to pray for Kyler’s brother Kit, his wife Sumaya, and their two kids Daliah and Zainah. They will be moving to Israel any day to be missionaries. Would you pray that their lives would be a sweet fragrance before the Lord. Ask for them to be surrounded by people who will be a blessing as they get settled and that they would be able to quickly find other believers so they would have community. Please pray for all of the families hearts as this could be their last couple days together. They are very close and sending them off will be so bittersweet.

Pray against the fatigue that comes with pregnancy for all our mommas! For Emily and Rachel and Morgan. Pray for healthy babies and healthy moms who are able to care well for themselves during this sweet and complicated time of pregnancy. Pray for Dads to be compassionate and full of grace. And pray for tiny littles already here that they might in some way understand that their families are growing and fill them with love even now for their new sibling.

Kyle’s parents are still looking through possessions to determine what they can keep. Nikki and Kyle will continue to help them get moved in throughout this week. Pray for strength of mind and body for Nikki and Kyle. And pray for Kyle’s parents as they navigate all of the changes that come with their twilight years. Let their hope not be diminished but let them rejoice at their closeness to family and to the Lord.

Michelle has PTSD and has recently started having more panic attacks again. Please pray for freedom from the bondage of fear, pray for healing and wholeness of mind, and pray to rebuke any spirit of shame that might make her feel less than what God says about her.
